GIANT SCREENS TO LIGHT UP FESTIVAL

Press Release Montreal, Tuesday August 8, 2000

- SpoTVision, a young, dynamic visual needs company, is proud to be a part of this year’s 24th Montreal World Film Festival. Three giant video screens, situated within festival grounds and sponsored by Super Écran and Indigo, will feature film trailers, festival screening information and short films. “We offer a new technological way of promoting cinema - outdoors.” said Mario Lemieux, Vice-President & Chief Financial Officer of SpoTVision. In this millennial edition of the Montreal World Film Festival, the SpoTVision media will definitely catch your eye.

Dedicated to using the most technologically advanced LED (Light Emitting Diodes) screens available, SpoTVision presents a new vision and approach to events, advertising and information. After its success at this year’s Cannes International Film Festival, SpoTVision continues it festival circuit by introducing the Saco Smartvision screens to its hometown event as the official outdoor broadcaster of the festival.

About SpoTVision

Combining superior technology with stunning cinematography, SpoTVision is the first to show film trailers outdoors during the day and offers festival participants and spectators a complete and unique experience. As in Cannes and Montreal, many film festivals around the world, including those hosted in Los Angeles, Rotterdam, and Milan, have expressed a serious interest in including this new media in their events. Complimenting their film festival circuit, SpoTVision leases LED screens to numerous international events including the Du Maurier Tennis Championships in Montreal, Toronto and Cincinnati, and the Du Maurier LPGA Classic in Ottawa. “There are too many events and not enough screens! That is the beauty of our business.” said Mimo Kabbara, founder of SpoTVision.
