A Kickoff event for F1 Fan Zone, Official Outdoor Broadcaster for Formula one, will take place at the Abu Dhabi Corniche. A three days adventure to celebrate the Inaugural Race of the new Abu Dhabi Track and the climax of the F1 2009 season.

ABOUT THE EVENT
F1 FanZone, official Formula One ( F1) Licensee has the exclusive outdoor broadcasting rights on Giant Led screens. F1 Fan zone will provide an inner city public event - the world’s largest, most diverse and exciting outdoor experience for a Formula One host city. This November F1 Fan Zone will host its first event in Abu Dhabi as the city is also hosting its inaugural race of the new Yas Marina Circuit and the closing race for the F1 2009 season.
Formula One motor racing is also called Grand Prix racing. Formula One motor racing is famed to be the most sought-after type of motor racing in the world. Formula One racing is a huge event that is televised the world over. The event lasts for a weekend, with practice sessions held every Friday.
In addition to providing live coverage of the weekends race on large outdoor screen(s), F1 FanZone will host live entertainment on the Main Stage, F1 driver autograph sessions, F1 simulators competitions, a pit-stop challenge, carting, a podium “photo finish” experience, various hospitality lounges, retail kiosks and official F1 merchandise. Spotvision has the exclusive right to sell advertising on those screens. |

As official F1 Licensee, F1 Fan Zone has the exclusive worldwide right to broadcast on Giant Led screen the Formula One race. Spotvision has the exclusive right to sell advertising on the screens inside the Fan Zone Village. This year F1 Fan Zone will broadcast during its inaugural event the also much anticipated the inaugural event for the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. This will be the last race and the climax of the Formula One Season this year.
An F1 FanZone event is where F1 excitement is at its peak. An action-packed, weekend event in the heart of the host city promotes the race itself and enhances the F1 experience through accessible family motorsport entertainment. |

The Abu Dhabi Race
at Yas Marina circuit
Abu Dhabi will stage the 2009 F1 finale. The fourth anti-clockwise track on the calendar, the five and a half kilometre (3.4 mile) circuit will be home to the final 55 laps of this year's championship, which comes to a close on 1 November. With 21 corners running through a new port and hotel complex, the venue promises to be one of, if not the, most striking of the season. The race will become the second Grand Prix in the Middle East after Bahrain.
The facilities Abu Dhabi has to offer, the state-of-the-art infrastructure it has developed, has made it ideal for hosting the Formula One motor racing Championships. Abu Dhabi is known for its warmth and hospitality. This is another reason why Formula One motor racing fans would love to visit this city.
The design for the Formula One motor racing track is developed by the famous circuit designer, Hermann Tilke. This impressive Formula One motor racing track, spanning over more than 2000 hectares of land, is built on the Yas Island. |
